Jones Womens Howler

Freeride power, freestyle attitude

Jones Women’s Howler 26/27 is the women’s version of the Howler, developed with Victor de Le Rue and Elena Hight. He has five Freeride World Tour titles, more than anyone in the tour’s history, and she won the Natural Selection Tour in 2022. The board is built for their style of riding: speed, big airs and rough snow. High Power Camber is Jones’ strongest camber, full camber from nose to tail with an extended flat zone under the back foot, which puts the power where you push off. Koroyd in the core dampens vibration and cuts weight at the nose and tail, so the board feels quicker to turn than the numbers suggest. An 8 mm taper and 2 cm setback let it float in powder without losing grip on hardpack.

  • Profile: High Power Camber, full camber from nose to tail with a flat zone under the back foot

  • Flex: 8 out of 10

  • Edges: Medium Traction Tech, three grip points per edge. Recycled German steel

  • Base shape: Jones 3D Contour, medium, 4 mm spoon bevel in the nose and 0 to 4 mm in the tail

  • Core: Power Core in three densities, bamboo, paulownia and poplar, plus Koroyd for damping and lower weight

  • Reinforcement: Bcomp stringers of carbon and flax

  • Laminate: triaxial fiberglass with bio epoxy

  • Base: Sintered 8000. Fast and holds wax well, but needs waxing

  • Sidewalls: recycled ABS

  • Topsheet: premium topsheet

  • Forever Flex, broken in at the factory for a more consistent flex from day one

  • Tip and tail are de-tuned from the factory

  • Factory waxed with WEND natural wax

  • Made in a Fair Trade Certified™ factory powered by solar energy
